Heart disease is the number one killer for women in the United States – a stark fact and that could lead one to avoid checking on heart health. While there are risk factors you cannot change, such as family history, there are many you can control.

This life I call Crazy!

I’ve got to tell you, I have been encouraging her to do everything, enjoy all the things she hasn’t thus far. Yes, I want her to study but I also want her to take advantage of all the little things that life has to offer.

In many ways, we find mentors that last a lifetime. Someone we can call in a pinch for a bit of emotional support during trying times or to assist with a long-range strategic plan for a business or charity.
