Hazing is not tolerated. This is not an environment that seeks to tear each other down. We are members of a special group. We hold one another to a higher standard, a standard that wants more for ourselves and for each other than to hurt or belittle by hazing. Zero tolerance means zero tolerance.

Formal Recruitment – The Journey Begins

TCU provides several programs to help new students find their places and become part of the community. Meredith has chosen to go through the Formal Recruitment process to become a sorority member.

You will know when you’re with a sorority if it “feels right” Don’t drop a sorority because you don’t have a friend in it or someone else going through recruitment suggests that you should. This is a lifetime decision and no one should make it but you.

We also like to share in our successes so sorority sisters can emulate a work and personal ethic that takes us all to the next level. What inspires one woman can inspire many women.

The National Panhellenic Conference is often consulted about negative images women face in their lives. It seems extraordinary that in 2012 we are still confronted with real challenges for women – such as lower pay than our male counterparts and a dearth of women leaders in Congress.

Broken…

It has been a rough Spring for the Tillner girls … or rather, the Tillner girls mother. You see, I fell on February 23, and broke my ankle. Yes, I broke my ankle.
